At Salon Ethos, our color services are organized around the result and level of dimension you’re looking for. You choose the appropriate service and scope, and your colorist determines the formulation, placement, and technique needed to create your result.
HAIR COLOR
ROOT COLOR & GRAY COVERAGE
Starting at $100
Color applied to new growth to cover or blend gray, maintain your existing base color, or refresh the root area. Your stylist will select the appropriate formulation based on your hair, desired coverage, and finished result. This service is for root maintenance and does not include color through the lengths.
Blow-dry is not included. If you would like a blow-dry, please add it after your color service when booking. If you are also booking a haircut, schedule the color service before the haircut. Pricing varies by stylist.
ALL-OVER HAIR COLOR
Starting at $125
Color applied from roots through the ends to create or maintain an all-over color result. Best for going significantly darker, maintaining or refreshing certain shades such as reds, or when color throughout the hair is needed. Your stylist will select the appropriate formulation based on your starting point, hair, and desired result.
This service does not include highlights, blonding, or significant lightening. Blow-dry is not included. If you would like a blow-dry, please add it after your color service when booking. If you are also booking a haircut, schedule the color service before the haircut. Pricing varies by stylist.
BLONDING & DIMENSION
FACE FRAME BLONDING
Starting at $110
Targeted blonding around the hairline to create brightness around the face while leaving the rest of the hair largely untouched. Best for a subtle refresh or a focused pop of brightness without adding dimension through the part or top of the head. Your stylist will determine the appropriate placement and technique based on your hair and desired result.
Gloss/toner and blow-dry are not included. Add either separately when booking if needed. Pricing varies by stylist.
FACE FRAME & PART BLONDING
Starting at $135
Targeted blonding around the hairline and through the part to create more visible brightness around the face and top of the hair. Best for clients who want more impact than Face Frame Blonding without moving into a broader Half Head Blonding service. Your stylist will determine the appropriate placement and technique based on your hair and desired result.

HALF HEAD BLONDING
Starting at $200
Blonding through the top, sides, crown, and visible areas of the hair to create brightness and dimension without lightening the entire head. The underneath and back are generally left untouched. Your stylist will determine the appropriate placement and technique based on your hair and desired result.

FULL HEAD BLONDING
Starting at $275
Blonding throughout the entire head, including the top, sides, crown, back, and underneath, for brightness and dimension throughout the hair. Your stylist will determine the appropriate placement and technique based on your hair and desired result.

GLOBAL BLONDING / ALL-OVER BLONDE
Starting at $450
For creating an all-over blonde result by lightening the hair from the scalp through the lengths, followed by toning to achieve the desired shade. Unlike highlights or dimensional blonding, Global Blonding creates a more uniform blonde result throughout the hair.
This service requires an appropriate starting point and may not be suitable for hair with previous artificial color or other factors that require a more complex approach. A complimentary consultation is recommended before booking your first Global Blonding appointment.
Global Blonding requires a 4-week maintenance schedule. Once your all-over blonde is established, book Global Blonding Retouch every four weeks to maintain the new growth.

TONE & MAINTENANCE
HAIR GLOSS / TONER
Starting at $75
A color service used to refresh or adjust tone, neutralize unwanted warmth, enhance existing color, and add shine. Often used between color appointments to refresh faded or brassy color. Your stylist will select the appropriate formula based on your hair and desired result. This service does not lighten the hair.
Blow-dry is not included. If you would like a blow-dry, please add it after your color service when booking. If you are also booking a haircut, schedule the color service before the haircut.
ADD-ON GLOSS
Starting at $50
Add-on gloss or toner for clients receiving another color service during the same appointment. This service cannot be booked by itself. If you are booking only a gloss or toner, please select Hair Gloss / Toner instead.
ROOT SMUDGE / SHADOW
Starting at $100
A tonal color service applied at the root to soften and blend the transition between your natural base and lighter hair usually after a lightening service. Often used to create a softer, more lived-in result or to refresh an existing root shadow between blonding appointments.
Root Smudge / Shadow can be booked on its own for maintenance or added to another color service when needed.
Blow-dry is not included. If you would like a blow-dry, please add it after your color service when booking. Pricing varies by stylist.
BASE BREAK
Starting at $65
A color service used to slightly lift and soften the natural base, reducing contrast between the root and lighter hair. Often used between or alongside highlighting appointments to create a softer transition and refresh the overall blonde.
A Base Break can be booked on its own for maintenance or added to another color service when needed.
